Welcome to Magill and Gardner Physical Therapy!
Our mission is to provide the highest level of individualized care to every client and be the choice provider of physical therapy services in the surrounding communities.
Why choose us?
Expertise - Our three PTs, Bill, Kevin, and Brian, have over 75 years of combined experience. They have hundreds of hours of continuing education between them and hold advanced degrees and certificates.
We do not utilize any assistants, aides, or students. Your initial evaluation and all subsequent treatment sessions will be performed by a licensed physical therapist, and we make every effort to keep you with the same therapist for all of your visits.
Satisfaction - We consistently achieve patient satisfaction scores well above national averages. In our most recent quarter 99.72% of patients reported overall satisfaction and 100% of our patients reported they would refer a friend to us.
Longevity - We have been a staple in the community for 30 years. We have earned our reputation as the premiere provider of PT services on the South Shore. We have navigated countless changes in the delivery and reimbursement of health services during this time, and we will continue to expertly manage any and all current and future changes to health care law.
Accountability - One of the hallmarks of evidenced-based practice is the usage of outcome measures to ensure quality and patient satisfaction. At MGPT we utilize FOTO (Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes), an innovative program used to track therapist effectiveness. In essence, our results depend on your results.
Our Facility - Conveniently located on the Driftway in Scituate, MA, our facility was designed and built with our patients' best interests in mind. The majority of treatment is performed in clean and comfortable private treatment rooms, because you privacy is important to us. We also have a large gym area filled with the latest in fitness technology to assist with your recovery. In addition, we offer men's and women's changing areas with lockers and showers for your convenience.
NEPTN - Although we are an independent physical therapy provider, we are members of the New England Physical Therapy Network, a coalition of over 60 private PT practices. This affiliation allows us to keep some of our credentialing, marketing, and administrative costs down in order to compete with some of the larger PT chains.
Electronic Medical Records - The implementation of EMR over the past year has allowed us to be more efficient with our documentation, which allows for greater one on one time with our patients. It also has allowed for faster and more efficient communication with your doctor to eliminate any interruption in your care.

The physical therapy I received after having two total knee replacements was excellent. The therapists worked long and hard with me as a team to strengthen my knees. As a patient who also has a cardiac condition, the care received is professional, compassionate, and thorough. When not in therapy, the fitness facility has every machine you need for a thorough work out. - Susan G., Marshfield
I was very please with the physical therapy treatments I received from Dr. Magill at Magill and Gardner. I had 8 treatments with a very successful outcome. There was never any wait time. Dr. Magill was always prompt and courteous. - Ellen F., Scituate
Kevin, I wanted to take a moment and thank you very much for helping me get my shoulder back to 100%. Your patience and exuberance kept me coming back in an effort to get better. I can say that my shoulder feels great and I am out there kayaking and enjoying the balance of the summer. I would without a doubt recommend you to anyone I know that is looking for a competent and carrying physical therapist. - Paul S., Scituate
My physical therapy with Brian went better than I expected. He not only followed my doctor's instructions, he also re-introduced me to the mind/body connection. He then followed up with instructional videos and articles that furthered my understanding. Because he was serious about his work and interested in his patients, I felt free to contact him later on about an additional physical problem. He listened patiently and offered me specific exercises, which, I am happy to say, did the job! It's reassuring to me that he is knowledgeable and available. - Dee S., Scituate
